A $4 million social housing project in Bomaderry, caught up in the collapse of construction company St Hilliers, is now complete.
The Bunberra Street development, which will house up to 21 residents, was one of a number of housing projects that stalled when St Hilliers Constructions went into voluntary administration in May last year.
The NSW Government then appointed NSW Public Works to complete the project.
"These projects were left unfinished in various stages so I'm pleased to announce the Bomaderry project is now ready for new tenants," Minister for Finance and Services Greg Pearce said.
Mr Pearce said the Government faced "a challenging task" to get all St Hilliers housing projects back on track but, with the cooperation of the sub-contractors involved, most have been completed.
"The Bomaderry project was delayed after a number of structural defects were uncovered that needed to be corrected before the balance of work could be completed," Mr Pearce said.
He said the NSW government had paid out all sub-contractors previously owed money by St Hilliers.
