Shellharbour City Council will celebrate International Women's Day with a women's leadership breakfast today.
Councillors and staff have been invited to attend the special event to recognise the contribution of women in the council.

Three of the seven councillors elected by residents are women, with the council's current and previous mayors being female.
The breakfast will be held at The Links, Shell Cove between 7.30am and 9.30am, with speeches by Mayor Marianne Saliba, the director of corporate policy Lee Furness and group manager community connections Kathryn Baget-Juleff.
