Two southbound lanes of the F6 at Gwynneville were closed yesterday morning following a collision involving two trucks and a car.
Ambulance paramedics, Fire and Rescue NSW and police crews responded to the crash, which occurred about 9am.
Southbound traffic stopped as paramedics worked to treat a 49-year-old woman and an 81-year-old man at the scene.
Both were later taken to Wollongong Hospital in a stable condition.
By 10am traffic on the F6 and Memorial Drive had eased.
