A 33-year-old man died after being thrown from a vehicle during a crash in Callala on the South Coast.
About 8.55pm on Saturday, a Mitsubishi Challenger 4WD was travelling east on Forest Road, Callala, when it left the roadway east of the intersection of Callala Beach Road.
Police believe the 4WD then rolled several times, during which the man, from the Sydney suburb of West Pymble, was thrown from the vehicle.
He died at the scene but the driver of the car a - 35-year-old Ermington man - was pulled from the vehicle by a passerby and was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics.
He was then taken to Shoalhaven District Hospital before being airlifted to St George Hospital with serious injuries.
Investigations into the crash are continuing by police.
