Summer may be over but Illawarra sun seekers have been able to sneak in a few more beach days with almost a week of temperatures above 25 degrees in the region.
Among those soaking up the rays at Wollongong Harbour yesterday was cheeky Juliette Menanteau, 3, who did her best to quietly creep up behind a flock of pelicans.
Temperatures edged over 26 degrees in Bellambi and sat just under 27 degrees in Albion Park yesterday.
The run of sunny days was forecast to come to an end today, with showers predicted late this morning and in the after-noon.
Temperatures will remain warm, however, and the sun will be out in full force again tomorrow with the maximum set to hit 27 degrees.
Rain is forecast for the end of the week and into the weekend, with temperatures dropping into the low 20s.
