Four people have now been charged by Strike Force Alistair detectives following this morning’s major police operation against organised crime.
A 35-year-old man was arrested this morning at Chester Hill, a 33-year-old man was arrested at Greystanes, a 25-year-old man was arrested at Wentworthville, and a 57-year-old man was arrested in the Sydney CBD.
All four men have been charged with drug supply offences. The 57-year-old, who is a senior member of the Hells Angels, was also charged with selling a firearm.
A total of 19 people have been arrested during the operation, the result of ongoing investigations by the Organised Crime Squad and the NSW Crime Commission with help from the Gangs Squad.
Police seized two firearms and ammunitions, drugs, a stun gun, a significant quantity of cash, a vehicle and a ballistic vest during the raids. The NSW Crime Commission has issued two restraining orders on assets.
Search warrants are ongoing and further charges are expected, police said.
