9am UPDATE: All southbound lanes have now opened. Traffic has eased.
8.35am: Motorists travelling southbound on Mount Ousley this morning will face delays following a three-car accident near New Mount Pleasant Road.
One of the two southbound lanes is closed.
Emergency services and RMS traffic crews are on the scene.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow plenty of travel time. Motorists can take Bulli Pass as an alternative route.
