A 21-year-old man was assaulted and robbed by a group of males as he sat with a friend at Wollongong Railway Station on Sunday morning.
The two men were sitting on a platform about 3.50am when a man approached and demanded the victim hand over his wallet.
Three other men appeared and all four began assaulting the 21-year-old, causing a cut to his nose and facial bruising.
One of the offenders made off with the man’s wallet, ATM card and phone.
The victim eventually broke free, ran from the station and contacted police.
Police would like to speak with two men in relation to the incident.
The first is described as being of Pacific Islander or Maori appearance, about 20-years-old, 170cm tall and with a muscular build.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a red bandanna and red shirt.
The second man has a similar description but is about 185cm tall and with a medium to muscular build.
He was wearing black pants, dress shoes and a black shirt at the time of the alleged attack.
