Wollongong sports fans should flock to WIN Entertainment Centre on Saturday night to give Hawks legend Glen Saville the memorable send-off he so richly deserves.
Saville announced his retirement on the last day of January after suffering a serious knee injury, ending his 19-season run as one of the NBL's all-time best small forwards.
The Hawks host Adelaide in the final round of the season on Saturday and club officials are hoping a big crowd will farewell the two-time Olympian.
"This is a huge game for our club," Hawks general manager Mili Simic said.
"Not only is this a celebration game for Glen Saville, the greatest player to ever play for the Hawks, but a win will cement third place.
"We had a great crowd last Friday night to see us beat Sydney and we're anticipating another crowd over 4000 on Saturday.
"We need our fans to spread the word and encourage their friends, family and workmates to come along and support the boys and bring the energy."

Tickets are available through Ticketek or at the WIN Entertainment Centre Box Office. Prices start at $15 for children, $20 for adults and $55 for a family of four.
Saville won't be suiting up but is expected to join his teammates for the traditional pre-game introductions.
"We want fans to get their tickets early, get in the venue and be there to celebrate with us Sav's illustrious career," Simic said.
A limited edition Mercury Glen Saville tribute poster will be available at the venue on game night.
