Young artists have taken over the mural wall of MacCabe Park's Pioneer Hall in anticipation of Youth Week.
The work, by artists Lillian Cuda, 20, and Elizabeth Ruby Batger, 24, includes empty spaces for other artists to fill as the week progresses from April 5-14.
Toby Schaefer-Darling, Wollongong City Council's co-ordinator of youth services, said the week was about celebrating the contribution of young people.
"It's a good opportunity to highlight the positive impacts young people have on local communities, and potentially highlight some of the local issues," he said.
Events include Big Day In - four hours of music, obstacle courses, side stalls, skate deck painting, art and lunch at Wollongong Youth Centre on April 6; and Debate of the Ages on April 10 with i98FM's Marty Haynes and ABC Radio's Nick Rheinberger.
