The statistics are in and Kiama Municipal Council's e-waste event held at the end of February has been declared a success.
More than 100 tonnes of e-waste was collected for recycling with more than 3000 vehicles dropping off old electronic devices during the event.
This was described as "an outstanding result" considering the population of the municipality is just 20,000 residents.
The council partnered with The TechCollect program, administered by the Australia and New Zealand Recycling Platform, for the event.
