Young residents of Shellharbour City have been encouraged to become involved with the Amp It Up concert by helping to co-ordinate the second annual live-music event.
Amp It Up will be held on Friday, July 12, at Centenary Hall, Albion Park.
"This event is now a prime opportunity for young people who may be interested in working in the music industry to become involved in organising and presenting a music concert," Shellharbour Mayor Marianne Saliba said.
Under the guidance of the council's youth services team, a working group will make key decisions and set the tone for the event.
Anyone aged between 12 and 25 can join in the workshops at 4pm on Tuesday, April 2, at the Blackbutt Youth Centre. Meetings will also be held at 4pm on May 7, June 4 and July 2 - all Tuesdays.
