The Bellambi ladies won the Illawarra pennant flag, then beat Crookwell 48-36 in the Group playoff to book their place at the state finals in August.
Bellambi last won an Illawarra ladies pennant flag in 2006 in Grade 4 and will now play in the Grade 4 state finals at Raymond Terrace Bowling Club on August 13 to 14.
The ladies will be hoping to win their way to the grand final at Nelson Bay Bowling Club on Friday, August 16.
Bellambi have about 30 bowling members, with Judy Ramsey and Brenda Carney the team skippers.
The other Grade 4 team members are Mary Noonan, Elaine Rowe, Isabelle Fenton, Anne Cross, Lillian Felgate and Grace Walsh.
Illawarra Grade 1 champions Warilla and Grade 2 winners Corrimal are also off to the state finals.
Windang won the Illawarra Grade 3 flag but lost their Group playoff to the Southern Highlands champions.
