But the Tarrawanna taxidermist has refused, saying such people should be "hunted down" and heavily penalised.
Despite recent reports of illegal hunting in the Illawarra, Mr Filippi said he hadn't received any recent "fresh" kills.
"I do get trophy deer, goats and pigs but in the last three to four weeks I haven't received anything."
A member of the Illawarra branch of the Sporting Shooters' Association of Australia, Mr Filippi no longer shoots in the Illawarra region, instead choosing to travel to places such as Lithgow, Mudgee, and parts of Victoria.
"I don't any more because the places we had permission to go on now don't exist," he said.
"As a member of SSAA there are ethical things you should be doing and anyone not involved in that process should be weeded out."
