Four men have been arrested and charged with drug offences after police executed five search warrants in the Illawarra.
Strike Force Walder, comprising officers from the Lake Illawarra Drug Unit, executed five search warrants at premises in Unanderra, Cringila, Berkeley and Wollongong at about 9.40am on Friday.
Police located and seized amounts of ecstasy and crystal methyl amphetamine (Ice) as well as clothing and vehicles allegedly used in the supply of prohibited drugs.
A 23-year-old man, who police will allege was supplying prohibited drugs at a nightclub in Wollongong, was charged with 45 counts of supplying a prohibited drug.
Another 23-year-old man, who had allegedly been supplying undercover police with drugs, was charged with two counts of supply commercial quantity of prohibited drugs.
A 31-year-old man was charged with 13 counts supply prohibited drugs and refused bail to appear in Wollongong Local Court on October 16.
A fourth man, aged 20, was charged with three counts of possess prohibited drug and granted conditional bail to appear in Wollongong Local Court on September 17.
Investigations are continuing with further arrests and charges expected.
