A few more warm days are in store for the region, capping off an unseasonably balmy August. Forecasters predict nothing but above-average temperatures in the Illawarra ahead of the official arrival of Spring on Sunday.

Maximum temperatures are not expected to drop below 20 degrees for the four remaining days of winter.
The forecast includes isolated showers on Friday morning, before temperatures reach an ideallic 24 degrees.
The Bureau of Meteorology predicts possible showers on Saturday, with a maximum of 22 degrees. Sunday sunny, 23 degrees.
