The Thirroul side skipped by Paul Robertson was the best of three unbeaten teams to take out the annual Flyaway Triples at Dapto Bowling Club.
Robertson and partners Dan Samaha and Liam Dun won all five games over two days with their +50-shot margin earning the winner's prize of $1500.
Robertson was pushed hard by Dapto's Peter Dyke (skip), Gordon Hardie and Nigel Gill, who finished on 5wins+39 for the runners-up cheque of $750.
Dapto Citizens' Brian Harriott (skip), Noel Davis and Trevor Gillis were the only other unbeaten team, with 5wins+38 to finish third to earn $435.
Fourth-placed Brian Fox (jnr), Brian Fox (snr) and Adrian Jones were the best of many four-game winners, finishing with 4wins+37.
The tournament, in its 29th year, featured a capacity field of 32 teams last Saturday and Sunday battling it out for $5500 prize money.
All teams played five games of 13 ends in perfect spring conditions.
This year's event featured three Western Australian teams from the Morley Park Bowling Club, with one of the teams, skipped by Alan Elmer, finishing as one of the five individual game winners.
Dapto's Dean McNaught and Rod Taylor had the highest winning margin in game one and two respectively, while Elmer was the best of the game-three winners.
Shellharbour's Greg Stevens was the top game-four victor, with Dapto's Peter Kendall collecting the prize for the best of the game-five winners.
