The recent first anniversary of the release of Wollongong-produced surf flick Raw The Movie was celebrated with the news its producers had signed a deal with Australia's biggest extreme action sports channel Fuel TV.
That resulted in special screenings of Raw The Movie on September 11.
Producers Mark Brightwell and Cohan Banfield were delighted because it gave
many people the opportunity to relive their favourite moments or experience the film for the first time from the comfort of their couch, a pub or a mate's place.
The two men said copies of the movie were also available from rawthemovie.com.
Mr Brightwell said the response to their first surf film feature continued to amaze them.
"The film has continued to go from success to success circulating the globe and screening in over 10 different countries," he said.
Mr Brightwell said the movie also captured the attention of the world's biggest extreme sports event.
That occurred several months ago when Raw The Movie screened as part of the entertainment program in the cultural village of the 2013 X-Games in Munich.
In the previous month it had screened in MareMonstra Ocean International Film Festival, Palma de Mallorca, Spain, and the Lighthouse International Film festival, Long Beach Island, New Jersey.
Immediately after that it screened at the Surf At Lisbon International Film Festival in Portugal and the sixth annual Honolulu Surf Film Festival in Hawaii.
