A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition after a crash at Robertson in the Southern Highlands on Saturday.

About 10.20am a 22-year-old man was riding a red Yamaha R6 motorcycle along the Illawarra Highway when he lost control and fell onto the road.
His motorcycle continued to slide along the road hitting an oncoming black Mazda 3 before coming to rest in a ditch.
Police and paramedics attended the scene and the man was airlifted to Liverpool Hospital where he remains in a stable condition with suspected internal injuries.
The highway was closed for more than five hours while police conducted examinations of the scene and seized the motorcycle for mechanical inspection.
A 33-year-old man, who was driving the Mazda, was not injured during the collision.
Investigations into the matter are continuing.
