A woman was trapped for a short time after her ultralight crash-landed west of Camden on Saturday afternoon.
Ambulance crews were called to The Oaks airfield at 12.30pm on Saturday to answer a call of an ultralight landing heavily.
When they arrived they found two people were injured in the crash.
A 49-year-old female was trapped in the ultralight for a short period of time.
She suffered fractures to her pelvis and leg and, after she was freed, she was airlifted to Liverpool hospital in a serious condition.
A 59-year-old man was also in the crash. he suffered suspected fractured ribs and an ankle injury.
He was taken by ambulance to Liverpool Hospital.
