A senior citizen was rushed to hospital after he was hit by a motorcycle at Fairy Meadow this afternoon.
Ambulance crews were called to the Princes Highway at Fairy Meadow at 4.35pm to answer calls of an accident involving a pedestrian and a motorcyclist.
The pedestrian, a man in his early 80s, had lacerations across his body, believed to have been caused by being thrown three to four metres by the collision.
He was transported to Wollongong Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The motorcyclist was also taken to Wollongong Hospital in a stable condition.
