Star centre Josh Morris will consider a return to his former NRL club St George Illawarra, and a reunion with his twin brother Brett.
With the pair together again in Australia's World Cup squad, their manager David Riolo confirmed that Josh, off contract with the Bulldogs at the end of next season, would entertain a return to the Dragons in 2015.
"He's off contract next year at the Dogs and we've had preliminary talks with them, but he'll wait and see how everything progresses. The Dragons will be an option for him," Riolo said.
While the Dragons are not able to negotiate with Riolo until November 1, Dragons boss Peter Doust has previously raised the prospect of Josh returning to the club.
Doust had stressed he had been talking as a fan rather than the chief executive, but the fact he was prepared to discuss the possibility of Morris returning left little doubt the Dragons would make a play for him.
Morris debuted with the Dragons in 2007 but switched to the Bulldogs in 2009 and has become one of the best centres in the NRL.
Riolo said the Bulldogs and the Dragons would likely be the NSW representative's only options.
"His options would be to stay where he is, or play with his twin brother. He's very happy at the Bulldogs, but he and his brother are always into each other about playing with each other again."
