Her goal is that every day her team makes a significant difference to someone’s life.
The business with outlets in Fairy Meadow and Warilla was recognised for obtaining significant growth and implementation of processes and strategies that helped make it sustainable.
The business specialises in fitting bras and breast prostheses to help restore self-esteem after breast surgery. It boasts a pamper centre that provides a holistic approach to the emotional wellbeing and self-esteem of women at such a time.
It also runs free educational workshops which are now being introduced into high schools.
‘‘Winning this award is so important to me,’’ Mrs Young said.
‘‘It is going to help me fulfil my dream of educating women on the importance of looking after their breasts and the early detection of breast cancer. And this will help me in my mission to start my breast aware program which I am taking into the schools next year.’’
Mrs Young also thanked her team and the city and region for giving her the opportunity to start and run a successful business.
