4.30PM UPDATE: Motorists are advised all southbound lanes on the Princes Highway are now open in Sylvania after being closed due to a leaning power pole on Tom Uglys Bridge earlier.
Two of three southbound lanes on the Princes Highway in Engadine remain closed due to a fallen tree.
Additionally, all eastbound lanes on the Hume Highway are now open in Carramar after an earlier car accident at Quest Avenue.
Traffic in the area remains heavy and motorists still face significant delays.

3.40PM: A fallen tree and a power pole could create havoc for commuters driving home to the Illawarra from Sydney.
Two of the three southbound lanes on the Princes Highway are closed in Engadine due to a fallen tree at Station Street.
Also, on Tom Uglys Bridge at Sylvania, a leaning power pole has forced the closure of two of three southbound lanes.
Emergency services and road crews are on site at both incidents.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution and expect delays.
