Two people managed to escaped unhurt from a house fire at Warilla on Tuesday.
Shellharbour Fire and Rescue NSW station officer Michael Balzer said it was believed the fire began in a bedroom of the Toshack Street home.
Two crews responded to the incident after receiving a call at 3.38pm.
Mr Balzer said crews arrived to find the single-storey fibro and tile structure well alight.
The house, a Housing NSW property, was severely damaged.
