Santa was asked to attend this week's Lagoon Seafood Restaurant Mums and Bubs High Tea to help celebrate Christmas.
His visit was made possible by Graeme Smith, of Early Years Care, and Geoffrey Walters and his son Cameron Walters who is still celebrating recently winning the 2013 NSW Formula Ford 1600 Championship.
Lagoon Seafood Restaurant marketing manager Jonni Nicolaou decided to involve the local race car driver to help celebrate the success of the high teas that have continued to grow in popularity during this year with the support of many local businesses.
They attract around 300 people each month.
Cameron Walters said the young children's mothers asked very different questions to those asked by fathers when they attended a Fathers and Bubs High Tea on Father's Day.
He attracted plenty of interest when he brought his 2013 championship car for everyone to look at but was almost upstaged by his father when he delivered Santa in a Ford GT40.
Mr Waters said it was good to give something back and bring some joy to the local community that supported him.
He said sponsorship this year from the Lagoon Seafood Restaurant and other local sponsors had been vital in helping him win the championship.
"Without sponsorship we would not exist," he said.
"It is a vital part of what we do. Local sponsors especially. Without the local sponsors we don't get off the ground."
