There were reports of waves reaching 1.2m as surfers along the South Coast took their boards out into the water.
It’s likely these conditions will be a one-off this week, with the swell steadily dropping to 0.5m on Thursday.
The weather forecast looks to be a bit up and down, with a chance of rain on Monday and Tuesday and expected highs of 28 degrees.
The mercury will drop to the low 20s for the weekend, when it's likely we’ll get some shower activity.
