Shellharbour Carols by Candlelight 2013
Friday, December 13, 5.30pm
Reddall Reserve, Lake Illawarra
The festivities get under way with kids’ entertainment from 5.30pm followed by the two-hour Carols spectacular from 6.30pm. Santa Claus will make a special appearance along with some of the region’s most talented singers and musicians, and the will end with a grand finale of fireworks. Details here.
Berkeley Community Carols and Family Fun Day

Berkeley Community Centre park
The family fun day will feature kids’ activities including a jumping castle, food and entertainment by local acts such as the Berkeley Songbirds Choir and the Swingin’ Sista Ukulele Band. Free entry. Food, fun and entertainment from 4pm. Carols and puppet show starts 6pm.

Albion Park High School Amphitheatre
Hosted by Albion Park Anglican Church and Park Rail Anglican, the evening will include a sausage sizzle, children’s activities and carols by candlelight starting at 7.45pm. Free entry, BYO chairs/blankets; candles available for purchase on the night.
Figtree Anglican Church’s Community Carols
Saturday, December 14, 5.30pm-9.30pm
Sporting fields behind Figtree High School
Well-known kids entertainer Sean W Smith, along with other entertainers, will lead the crowd singing favourite carols, with the evening concluding with fireworks.
There will be free face painting and activities for the little ones, rides, BBQ as well as a range of food vendors. Gates open 5pm for a 5.30pm start. Entry is free. Details here.
A Simple Christmas: Carols at Thirroul Beach

Tingara Park at Thirroul Beach
Bring along your favourite picnic dinner as C3 Church Thirroul puts on carols and a live band playing Christmas songs, as well as face-painting and a visit from Santa. Free entry. Details here.

An evening of carolling will be topped off with a fireworks display at 9pm. Free entry.

Pack the camp chairs and a rug as the Combined Protestant Churches of Helensburgh again combine to put on a family night of fun. Entry is free.

There's an animal petting zoo for the kids, a sausage sizzle at 7pm, and carols starting at 8pm. Free entry.
