Television owners need to retune their digital television, set-top box or digital television recorder to find the channels that have moved.
The Federal Government advises viewers start by pressing the ‘menu’ button on their remote then look for their ‘set-up’ options if they are missing channels.
They should then look for words like ‘channel or ‘auto-tuning’.
A website and helpline has been established for those having difficulty retuning their television: digitalready.gov.au/retune or 1800201013 between 8am and 10pm.
