Balgownie and Corrimal are chasing a spot in the SCG Country Cup quarter-finals in tomorrow's one-day clash at Judy Masters Oval.
Lake Illawarra take on South Coast leaders Oak Flats at Howard Fowles Oval in another round-of-16 clash.
The round-of-16 winners advance to the quarter-finals hosted by the South Coast Association on December 28.
South Coast also hosts the semi-finals on Sunday, December 29, leaving the four local clubs just three wins away from playing in the final at the SCG on January 12.
Queanbeyan are the first team into the quarter-finals. In the other round-of-16 games tomorrow, Kincumber take on Terrigal; Albury Wodonga v Wagga Wagga; Coffs Harbour v Tamworth; Parkes v Dubbo and Merewether v Hamilton-Wickham.
Merewether are the defending champions and, along with Hamilton Wickham, have won the Cup four times since 2001.
In Illawarra cricket, the 10 first grade clubs play the opening round of the Twenty20 competition today.
All clubs play two games today, with the Northern Districts versus University match in round two a twilight clash (from 5pm) at Hollymount Oval.
Keira are the defending T20 champions and take on the unbeaten premiership leaders Balgownie in round one at Judy Masters Oval.
Keira then face Dapto at Reed Park in round two.
Round three is next Saturday, with rounds four and five on January 11. The Illawarra T20 semi-finals are on January 19 with the final on February 2.
