About 7.30am, police saw a truck carrying logs, allegedly not properly restrained, travelling south on the Princes Highway at East Lynne.
Police stopped the 43-year-old driver, from Wandella, and issued a breath test which returned a positive result.
He was arrested and taken to Bateman’s Bay Police Station where a breath analysis returned an alleged reading of 0.119.
Police issued a mid-range drink driving change suspended his drivers licence.
