Last month, a 94-year-old woman and an 86-year-old man went to Bowral police station to report their credit card had been stolen.
Both senior citizens also reported that they had received phone calls in which they were allegedly tricked into providing their PINs.
Police officers began investigations and discovered as many as 40 fraudulent transactions on their cards.
Inquiries led them to a house in Terrigal, which was raided on December 23.
During the search police seized a large amount of property, including bikes, clothing, televisions and a car.
Police arrested a 33-year-old man at the home on Monday afternoon and he was taken to Gosford Police Station where he was charged with 40 fraud-related offences.
He was bailed to appear at Gosford Local Court on February 4.
