Traffic has eased at the Albion Park Rail bottleneck.
On Thursday morning a Transport Management Centre spokeswoman said main bottle necks on the south coast included Kiama, Berry, Nowra, Milton, Ulladulla and Batemans Bay.
“Today, being Boxing Day, is usually one of our busiest days on the road but so far we’re coping ok,” the spokeswoman said.
Drivers are being advised to allow for an extra 40 minutes of travel time.
