THE EMBALMER
Jan Field, Southern Highlands
Jan Field has wanted to work with the dead since the age of five. Her mother, horrified and embarrassed by the idea, would clip her daughter over the head whenever she mentioned it. Jan eventually got her wish. Jodie Duffy gets to know the embalmer here.
