As of January 1, tolls will go up on the WestlinkM7, with the maximum fee payable increasing from $7.37 to $7.46.
The Cross City Tunnel main tunnel toll for cars will go up 5¢ from $4.95 to $5.00.
Tolls will also change for the Lane Cove Tunnel, up 4¢ to $3.06, and the Hills M2 up a maximum of 6¢ to $6.11 for cars and motorcycles.
‘‘In these tough economic times every increase in the cost of living - no matter how modest - adds up,’’ Labor MP Walt Secord said.
Connector Motorways, which runs the Lane Cove Tunnel, said the increase was in accordance with the Project Deed signed by Connector Motorways and the NSW RTA in 2003.
The Hills Motorway Limited said the increase was in line with inflation. - AAP
