A woman has been taken to hospital after being sexually assaulted at Fairy Meadow Beach on Wednesday morning.

Emergency services were called to Fairy Meadow Beach following reports a woman, 21, had been assaulted at 3am.
Police were told the woman was walking along the beach alone when a man grabbed her from behind and dragged her to nearby sand dunes where he sexually assaulted her.
Passers-by heard the woman scream and went to help.
She was taken to Wollongong Hospital for treatment.
Wollongong police are looking for a man described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, with a small build and was wearing shorts and a black and silver necklace.
Investigators would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or any suspicious activity in the area.
