The Illawarra Mercury's social network has expanded. If you're keen to join the conversation, here's where you'll find us ...

Mercury sport on Facebook

Like the Mercury's new sport page to get the latest Illawarra sport news, features and opinion in your newsfeed.

The page kicked off this week and is managed by sport editor Tim Barrow and his team. Check it out here.

Mercury photographers on Facebook

Last month the Mercury's photography department launched a must-see Facebook page to help engage budding snappers in the region.

The team plans to mentor young photographers and engage with the local professional community through social media. Like the page here.

Mercury on Pinterest

Repin socials galleries, Weekender features and stories you missed throughout the year.

You're also invited to join our group boards, where you can pin big ideas for the region and share posts by Illawarra bloggers.

The boards are vibrant and inspiring, but don't take our word for it - see for yourself here.

Mercury iPhone app

With the iPhone app, you can read the news and make the news. Respond to assignments and send in tips using your phone and its camera.

It’s quick and easy-to-use, and free for a limited time. Download the app here.

We're also here, here and (almost) here

The Mercury news team has a Facebook page, and you can follow the handles @illawarramerc and @mercury_sports on Twitter. Look out for the Mercury on Instagram soon.
