Two men have been charged over alleged false prescription incidents in the Moss Vale area.
On Tuesday 24 December 2013, police were notified of a number of incidents where suspicious prescriptions were submitted for processing at chemists in Moss Vale and Mittagong.
Detectives attached to the Goulburn Local Area Command commenced investigations into the incident.
About 5pm on Friday police attended a chemist on Argyle Street with reports two men allegedly attempted to submit suspicious prescriptions.
They arrested two men at the scene, aged 23 and 36.
The 23-year-old man was later charged with possess prohibited drug, induce pharmacist to dispense false prescriptions and other unrelated matters.
The 36-year-old man was charged with induce pharmacist to dispense prescription and dealing with the proceeds of crime.
He was granted conditional bail to appear in Moss Vale Local Court on Monday 17 February, 2014.
