Paragliders 'stuck in trees' at Bald Hill

Ambulance crews and police were called to Bald Hill on Sunday afternoon for reports that a number of paragliders may have been blown by high winds into trees.

Emergency services and the ambulance rescue helicopter were called to the scene at 2.45pm after receiving calls that at least three paragliders were blown into the bush at Bald Hill and may have been stuck in trees.

Shortly after arrival, ambulance and police located the paragliders, one of whom had landed in a paddock at Otford, while a second was found about a kilometre north of the pie shop at Otford.

None of the paragliding trio were injured.
