As her disbelief turned into delight, Bridie Farrell twirled in her pink dress when she met Mickey Mouse and Goofy ahead of their Disney magic show in Wollongong on Wednesday.
With her father, the seven-year-old travelled over five hours from Eden to watch the Disney Live! presents Mickey’s Magic Show at WIN Entertainment Centre.
The young Disney fan said she was looking forward to seeing her favourite character, Cinderella.
‘‘Because she wears blue and that’s my favourite colour,’’ Bridie said.
Minnie Mouse, Princess Jasmine, Mad Hatter, Snow White and Belle will also make an appearance, while illusionist Zak Williams performs various magic tricks.
The show’s performance director, Esia Hernandez, said the washing machine skit was the most popular with Australians.
‘‘It’s in the first act and we get a volunteer from the audience,’’ she said.
‘‘We’ve had really good reactions here in Australia.
‘‘Different cultures react differently to the show.
‘‘For instance when we played in India it was very loud, same in Spain.
‘‘Japan was very quiet, and Australia is pretty loud.
‘‘We have high expectations for tomorrow.’’
