The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service has declared fire bans for 17 South Coast national parks and conservation areas, due to the continuing hot conditions and high fire danger.

The NPWS has advised visitors to check the NPWS visitor website or local NPWS office for information regarding park fire bans.
The bans prohibit all campfires and solid fuel (wood, heat beads, charcoal, briquettes, hexamite) barbecues and stoves.
