Public meeting on Port Kembla RSL Club today

Concerns about the future of Port Kembla RSL Club will be raised at a public meeting on Tuesday morning.

It is the latest instalment in a long-running saga for the troubled club, which was closed in May last year and placed in the hands of voluntary administrators.

That was followed by a public campaign to save the club and the eventual sacking of the executive of the RSL sub-branch by RSL NSW for "significant" breaches of the RSL constitution.

The sacked members have been unhappy with the actions of RSL NSW and several of them, including former vice-president Terry Wetherall will address the meeting.

Mr Wetherall said the meeting at the club would detail concerns about RSL NSW's plans for the future of the club.

The meeting begins at 10.30am.
