Festival goers are advised to leave the car at home and take advantage of extra trains operating for Big Day Out at Sydney Showground at Sydney Olympic Park today.

Trains are already running every 10 minutes between Lidcombe and Olympic Park, which is the closest station, and will continue until 1am tomorrow.
Regular trains will run between Central and Olympic Park from 10am until 2:30pm and again from 8pm until 2am tomorrow.
To help get people home extra trains will run on the Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra Line, the South Coast Line, North Shore, Northern & Western Line, Inner West & South Line, Bankstown Line, and the Central Coast and Newcastle Line.
Music lovers should give themselves additional travel time and buy a return ticket to avoid queues on the way home.
Anyone driving should expect delays, especially along the M4, Parramatta Road, Homebush Bay Drive and Concord Road.
