Wollongong City Library is warning patrons that they can expect slower than normal service during next week's computer system upgrade.
The upgrade will take place from Monday to Wednesday and will affect services at all seven branches, as well as online library services.
Visitors will be able to check out and return items, but some of the library's online services will be unavailable while work is under way.
Manager of library and community services Jenny Thompson said the upgrade would provide customers with a faster, more efficient circulation system.
The library says it will automatically adjust dates for any items that are due to be returned from February 3 to 5.
