Chris Pratt king of the selfie

US actor Chris Pratt has revealed his top tips on how to take the perfect selfie.

The Parks and Recreations star is known for his good looks as well as his acting ability so it’s no surprise he knows his best angles.

And Pratt was happy to share his dos and don’ts during a chat with MTV News.

‘‘It’s important to gaze at your own image in the phone rather than make eye contact with yourself,’’ said Pratt, while pointing to a picture he had taken of himself with no shirt on.

‘‘Otherwise, you’ll look too self-aware.’’

Having starred in films including Zero Dark Thirty, Moneyball and Bride Wars, Pratt knows how important it is to act natural.

And this same rule applies to taking selfies.

‘‘(It needs to look like) you just tripped, fell, and landed on some abs,’’ he laughed.

While the 34-year-old believes in a natural shot, he accepts that it can take a while to achieve the right look.

He even admitted that it took quite a lot of goes before he achieved the perfect shirtless selfie.

Clooney the prankster takes aim at dad

The Monuments Men.

The Monuments Men.

Practical joker George Clooney played a prank on his father by dedicating his latest film to his memory even though he’s still alive.

The Hollywood star invited his father, a former TV journalist, to a special screening of Second World War film The Monuments Men.

Matt Damon, who co-stars in the film about a group of art experts searching for stolen paintings, told Graham Norton that Clooney was always playing pranks.

He told the chat show host: ‘‘To give you an example, his dad is in the movie and George runs it just for him. As the credits rolled, it said, 'In loving memory of Nick Clooney’.

‘‘His dad says, ’What the hell, George?’, and George goes, ’Well dad, the movie doesn’t come out for six months. It’s much cheaper to take these things off the credits than put them on!’.

‘‘So that’s who you’re dealing with and you have to understand that going into a movie. It is so funny to him.’’

Bieber will face court on March 3 to face charges of driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with an invalid license.

He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.Police say Bieber was arrested after an illegal street drag race in Miami Beach.
