Federal police have searched the Sydney offices of the Seven Network in relation to alleged payments to convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby for interviews.
The network reported the police raids on air on Tuesday morning, saying they related to the Corby matter.
In a statement to AAP the Australian Federal Police confirmed it had ‘‘executed a number of search warrants in Sydney in relation to an ongoing Proceeds of Crime Act matter’’.
‘‘As this matter is ongoing, it is not appropriate for the AFP to comment any further.’’
Corby last week was released on parole in Bali.
