A baby has been hospitalised after being run over in the driveway of a Merimbula home on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to Oceanview Avenue around 5pm after a nine-month-old baby was hit by a Mitsubishi Pajero reversing from a driveway.
The baby was taken to Bega District Hospital in a serious condition with head and facial injuries, before being transferred to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Camperdown.
The 67-year-old male driver was breath-tested and provided a negative sample.
Officers from Far South Coast Local Area Command are investigating the crash and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
