Ken Wilkinson, 66, died when his gyrocopter crashed into a field near Nowra about 10am.
Police said the gyrocopter was travelling east when it crashed in farmland off Mayfield Road at Brundee, between Nowra and Greenwell Point.
ASRA representatives collected data on site on Monday, and were preparing to hand that information to police.
ASRA incidents investigator Alan Wardill said the weather had been fine up until the crash, however strong gusts of wind had been predicted for the region.
“We’ve completed on site investigations, gathered data, and will put it into a report for the police,” Mr Wardill said.
“We know weather was relatively fine – there was no rain, with very little if any significant cloud and good visibility.
“We know gusty winds were forecast and expected in the area so there’s that information we will be taking into account during the analysis.
“We’ll analyse the data and prepare a report.”
Polair also attended the crash scene, taking aerial photographs of the site.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
