Why did you apply for an IAS scholarship?
To continue to develop my rugby union skills, knowledge, abilities and techniques as an athlete in order to reach my highest potential.
What is your pre-competition routine and how long have you been doing it?
I have been using the following routine for the past four years: fitness training with my Dad and older brother two to three days a week.
Who's your favourite professional athlete and why?
Israel Folau. He is my favourite athlete because I observed him performing his best in any game he plays whether it be rugby league, AFL or rugby union.
What is your best memory from playing your sport?
This year playing in different positions in the forwards for Kiama 13s and for Kiama U14s backs every week but the highlight is breaking through Campbelltown's undefeated team of strong forwards to score the only try for Kiama U13s at the grand final.
If you weren't playing this sport what would you be doing and why?
I would be playing rugby league, keeping fit and concentrating on completing my home-allocated school tasks more.
When did you start playing your sport and how did you get started?
I started playing junior rugby union when I was six. My parents took my older brother to rugby union to play under 10s. My older cousins were playing rugby union too. My whole family love rugby union.
What are your plans beyond school?
To become a professional national and international rugby union player or a policeman as a back-up career.
