Perth coach Trevor Gleeson believes the Wildcats are on top of their game heading into the best-of-three semi-final series with Wollongong.
The Wildcats (21-7) enjoyed the view from top spot throughout the regular season and warmed up for the post-season with Sunday's 86-65 thrashing of Wollongong (13-15).
They host the Hawks in game one of the semi-final series on Friday night.
Perth held a 43-40 half-time lead in the season-ending clash before overpowering the visitors with a 23-6 third quarter.
"I didn't think we played particularly well. The second half was better than the first," Gleeson said.
"Having said that, Wollongong played a hard game Friday night, and with the travel they really died out in that second half.
"It's all about the style of game we're playing, the tempo ... you want to gain momentum, you want to build something.
"We want to play a good brand of basketball, pass to the open man and push back defensively. We did that in the second half."
